Dragon scale mail is made of the scales of one kind of dragon. Sometimes dragons collect their cast-off scales and gift them to humanoids. Other times, hunters carefully skin and preserve the hide of a dead dragon. In either case, dragon scale mail is highly valued.
While wearing this armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC. from levels 1-5, +2 bonus to ac from levels 6-10, +3 bonus to ac at level 11
Draconic Resistance. You have resistance to cold damage. If you already have resistance to cold damage from another source, you gain immunity to cold damage. If you already have immunity to cold damage from another source, you regain hit points equal to half of any cold damage you are dealt.
Draconic Senses. You can focus your senses as an action to magically discern the distance and direction to the closest dragon within 15 miles of you. This special action can't be used again until the next dawn. At level 16, this range is doubled
Breath Weapon. If you have a breath weapon (temporary or permanent), your breath weapon goes from being a once per long rest to a recharge of 6 on a d6. If you already have this, decrease the recharge by one. (Minimum of 4). At level 18, the recharge becomes 5 to a minimum of 3
Dragon Tongue. You automatically become fluent in draconic as long as you are wearing this armor. at level 10, you have advantage on charisma (persuasion) checks on dragons
This armor consists of a coat and leggings (and perhaps a separate skirt) of leather covered with overlapping pieces of metal, much like the scales of a fish. The suit includes gauntlets.
