A radiant suit of silver-white plate armor adorned with golden filigree of wings, vines, and sacred vows, centered around a softly glowing gemstone that pulses with the wearer’s bond. Its celestial design symbolizes mercy, sacrifice, and unwavering protection, with luminous magic spreading across its surface when shielding its paired ally. In moments of great need, the armor shines with halo-like brilliance, embodying divine guardianship made manifest.
While attuned to this armor, it grants the following benefits:
- +2 AC
- Resistance to necrotic and psychic damage
-
As a Reaction, take all damage the other wearer would receive from one source instead of splitting it.
While both attuned wearers are on the same plane of existence, the armor establishes an active mystical bond:
- The effects of Warding Bond are permanently active between the wearers without requiring concentration, material components, or spellcasting.
- This bond ends only if:
- Either wearer removes their armor
- Either attunement ends
- Either wearer dies
- The pair are separated across planes.
- Both wearers always know the direction and general emotional state of the other while bonded.
- Damage transferred through this bond cannot be reduced by additional resistances unless explicitly stated.
-
As a Bonus Action, one wearer may grant the other Temporary Hit Points equal to 1d8 + Charisma modifier.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
