Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement by a Paladin)

This holy emblem began as a simple, unmarked symbol of faith and offered no power beyond that of a normal holy symbol.

When you swear your Sacred Oath, the emblem awakens. A divine sigil forms upon its surface, faintly glowing with warm, steady light. The emblem responds to acts of protection and compassion, strengthening as you use your power to aid others. If your oath is broken, the emblem becomes dormant until your path is restored.

Level 3 (Uncommon) — Oath of Restoration

When you choose your Sacred Oath, the emblem awakens. You gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and your spell save DC while using it as a spellcasting focus.

When you use Lay on Hands on a creature other than yourself, that creature regains additional hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.

Once per long rest, when you restore hit points to a creature, you can cause that creature to also gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.

Level 5 (Rare) — Shared Vitality

When you use Lay on Hands, you can divide the healing between two creatures within your reach, rather than one.

Once per long rest, when a creature within 10 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to reduce that damage by an amount equal to your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus.

Level 10 (Very Rare) — Radiant Renewal

The bonus to your spell attack rolls and spell save DC increases to +2.

When you use Lay on Hands, the target also ends one of the following conditions affecting it: blinded, deafened, or poisoned.

Additionally, once per long rest, when you use an action to cast a spell that restores hit points, you can choose a second creature within 10 feet of the original target. That creature regains hit points equal to half the amount restored.

Level 15 (Legendary) — Beacon of Mercy

The emblem is now fully awakened. The bonus to your spell attack rolls and spell save DC increases to +3. You gain the following benefits:

  • Overflowing Grace: When you restore hit points to a creature, any excess healing beyond its maximum hit points becomes temporary hit points (maximum equal to your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus).
  • Intercession of Light: Once per long rest, when a creature within 30 feet would be reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to cause that creature to instead drop to 1 hit point and immediately regain hit points equal to twice your proficiency bonus.
  • Restorative Surge: Once per long rest, you can use an action to emit a wave of healing energy. You and allies of your choice within 15 feet regain hit points equal to 3d8 + your Charisma modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Paladin Spell Save DC, Bonus: Paladin Spell Attacks, Paladin
