Wondrous Item, very rare
A bronze cylindrical puzzle box with 6 interlocking rings; it is large enough to hold 20 cubic inches of material. The almanac is enchanted with the favor of Mystra and invokes her guidance with the successful solution to a short riddle. The almanac appears non-magical under spells such as detect magic and identify.
Upon solving the riddle it gains one charge, a mote of light escapes the almanac and grants one use of the divination spell. Responses from the almanac are clearly audible up to 30 feet.
The one that opens the almanac retains this ability until the it is closed or its charge is expended after which it magically shuts. A new riddle is revealed to the one that last opened the almanac seven days after it is shut.
