A glowing machine fragment that allows simulation of ancestral memories.

Properties

• When using the Animus Core your are incapacitated for a minimum of 1 minute
• You can cast Legend Lore once per Long Rest.
• You gain Advantage on History checks related to ancient civilizations.
• You cannot be surprised while attuned.

Desynchronization Risk

If you drop to 0 HP well using the Animus Core:

• Roll a DC 15 Wisdom save.
• On failure: you are temporarily “lost in memory” and incapacitated for 1 minute instead of falling unconscious.
