This amulet, designed by the talented crafters of Luma for the monster trainers of MATES, features five orange-brown crystals arranged in a pattern resembling a claw scratch.
While wearing this amulet, spells you cast which normally target Beasts can also target Monstrosities provided they do not speak a language and are not hostile towards you.

Posted Jun 9, 2026Note: As written, this does not affect spells like Polymorph or features like Wild Shape which are targeting non-Beast creatures to turn them into Beasts, or summoning spells like Find Familiar. It does not change Monstrosities into Beasts for the purposes of spellcasting.
It only applies to spells that are targeting Beasts for a spell effect, including:
Additional target parameters (such as size or Intelligence requirements) must still be met.
