What once may have been a bow in a previous life has been modified so extensively that its original craftsmanship is almost impossible to identify. Tight coils of pale blue banicyte wiring run along its limbs, looping through arcanic conductor rings and small focusing plates embedded into the grip. When wielded, the bow seems to react intuitively to its bearer. The string begins to draw before the wielder’s hand completes the motion, and the weapon subtly adjusts its own aim according to the wielder’s intent.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Intentive Aim
When you make an attack with this weapon, you may use your Intelligence modifier, instead of Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. (DndBeyond note: You will need to add custom modifiers to this item in your DndBeyond sheet for this feature.)
Force-Conductive Shots
Attacks made with this weapon deal an extra 1d6 force damage on a hit.
Kinetic Impacts
When you score a critical hit with this weapon, you choose one of the following effects:
- The target is pushed up to 10 feet directly away from you.
- The target is knocked prone.
A Huge or larger creature is immune to this effect.
Receptive to Artifice
This weapon is unusually receptive to infusions, arcanic modification, and magical reinforcement. Despite being a magic weapon, it can be affected by an artificer’s infusions as though it were nonmagical, provided the infusion could normally apply to a bow or ranged weapon. If an artificer infusion grants this weapon an additional bonus to attack and damage rolls, that bonus stacks with the bow’s existing +1 bonus. Similar effects can be applied through skilled crafting checks by a proficient smith/tinkerer.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Force, Replace Weapon Ability: Intelligence Score, Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
