The Arcane Thorne is a special combat wand that can blast arcane power onto the battlefield. Ment to be the ultimate equalizer. Its power and danger is found in its simplicity. The base holds an acrane enfuse crystal that only needs to be pushed forward and make contact with a spell scroll that is purposefully written to cast when merely touched by the crystal. The front of the wand has a cylinder that holds scrolls ( 6 at a time). Each scroll will be spun by the apparatus to be placed in front of the crystal. Only spell scrolls written for use with this weapon can be used for this weapon. Any normal spell scroll designed to be read or utilized in the traditional form will combust. Once all 6 scrolls are used it take 2 rounds to refill the cylinder with scrolls. At any point, the user can use a magic action to eject, replace, and lock in a new cylinder of up to 6 scrolls.
Force, The scrolls that this uses must adhere to the following conditions: the spell must have a range of at least 30 ft - the spell can not requre concentration, must not last more than one round, and have a casting time of 1 action. at level 0 - 2 (common) The Thorne can cast "bolt" cantrip using any preferred mod the bolt cantrip is 2d4 force + mod at higher leves/ raraty(uncommon ) - pl 3-5 the Thore can cast level 1 spell scroll with out a check (rare) - 6-9 - the Thorne can cast level 2 spells (very rare) 10-13- level 3 spell scrolls (legendary ) 14-17 level 4 spel scrolls (artfact ) 18-20 - level 5 spell scrolls , Can attune to any one within an hour,
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
