This wondrous artifact appears as an ancient holy amulet whose metal, script, and iconography cannot be identified by any priest, sage, or spellcaster, and it is bound to a faint stigmata-like mark that shifts somewhere upon the bearer’s body after each resurrection. The amulet cannot be sold, destroyed, transferred, gifted, abandoned, willingly discarded, permanently stolen, or used by another creature.
While holding the amulet within a consecrated temple, shrine, chapel, crypt-sanctuary, or other recognized place of worship, the bearer may spend 10 minutes in prayer to designate that location as his Respawn Point.
Whenever the bearer dies, his body vanishes in radiant light, all equipment carried or worn at the moment of death vanishes with him, and after 1 hour he reappears at his designated Respawn Point with 1 hit point. All equipment carried when he died is restored with him, but consumables used before death remain expended, treasure or objects deliberately left behind remain where they were left, and the world does not otherwise reset.
Notes: Requires attunement, once attuned no other creature can attune to the Amulet of Eternus, and attunement cannot be ended willingly while the bearer lives., Necklace
