You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
This bow was carved from the blood and broken instruments of all of the failed musicians of the world. Formed in hellfire and sunk to the depths of the ocean, the bow creates devastation and death in the form of the sweetest music in existence, to the point of enchanting all who hear it to become single-minded in possessing it. Yet, its true purpose is to return every living creature to death, where a divine chorus forever chants the true nature of music.
This weapon must be attuned to. After attunement, it no longer requires arrows, instead creating divine notes when the string is drawn. The notes will act as normal arrows towards Celestials and Humans. These notes will automatically target any non-Human or Celestial creature. The notes can go around cover, and change elevation. These notes, upon impact, will imprint upon the target a small fraction of the true form of music. If the target is not Human or Celestial, they will hear the deepest horror and take 4d12+5 damage. Afterwards, they are marked by true death and will die in three turns if they cannot remove the mark. Removing the mark is only possible by sacrificing a limb or killing the wielder of the bow. For Human targets, they will hear a pleasant yet terrifying melody, taking 4d8+2 damage and losing their next action. Celestial targets will understand the melody as a repeated chant to bow to the envoy of eldritch will, and will be banished to a lower plane for 10 turns.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
