To attune to the Agate Eye of Seeing Thoughts, it must replace a real one that was lost or removed.
The Agate Eye of Seeing Thoughts does not bestow normal sight. While the Agate Eye of Seeing Thoughts is embedded in your eye socket, you can see the presence of thoughts within 30 feet of yourself that belong to others that know languages or are telepathic. You cannot read the thoughts, but you know that something thinking is present. This magical sight can penetrate most barriers, but is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.
A loss in depth perception imposes disadvantage on any attack roll against a target more than 30 feet from you. While looking through 1 eye or the other, you are effectively blinded to any other eye’s sight.
