Special Rules
- Magical Accuracy: You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls made with this magic weapon.
- Extended Range: The magical enchantment seamlessly carries the lightweight net through the air, increasing its thrown range to 10/25 feet
- Restrained: A Large or smaller creature hit by the net is restrained. It has no effect on formless creatures or Huge or larger targets.
- Escaping the Net: The magical reinforcement increases the escape DC. A creature must use its action to make a DC 15 Strength check to burst free.
- Slashing the Net: The net’s magical structure grants it AC 17 and 25 hit points. It is immune to non-magical slashing damage, fire, bludgeoning, and piercing damage.
Self-Repairing: If reduced to 0 hit points by magical slashing damage, the net becomes torn and non-functional. However, it does not lose its magic. It automatically knits itself back together over the course of a long rest.
Proficiency with a net allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
A Large or smaller creature hit by a net is restrained until it is freed. A net has no effect on creatures that are formless, or creatures that are Huge or larger. A creature can use its action to make a DC 10 Strength check, freeing itself or another creature within its reach on a success. Dealing 5 slashing damage to the net (AC 10) also frees the creature without harming it, ending the effect and destroying the net.
When you use an action, bonus action, or reaction to attack with a net, you can make only one attack regardless of the number of attacks you can normally make.
