You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Your critical threat range for this weapon increases to 18-20.
The greataxe is magical, and has an Immovable Rod as its shaft. This iron rod has a button on one end. You can take a Utilize action to press the button, which causes the rod to become magically fixed in place. Until you or another creature takes a Utilize action to push the button again, the rod doesn’t move, even if it defies gravity. The rod can hold up to 8,000 pounds of weight. More weight causes the rod to deactivate and fall. A creature can take a Utilize action to make a DC 30 Strength (Athletics) check, moving the fixed rod up to 10 feet on a successful check.
Very Rare (Netherese Relic)
A restored Netherese Tiger's Eye gemstone is set within this weapon, rekindling a fragment of the ancient magic lost in the fall of Netheril.
The gemstone binds itself to the soul of the first creature to attune to the weapon. Thereafter, Anchorcleave's true power answers only to its chosen bearer. In the hands of any other creature, the weapon is indistinguishable from an ordinary greataxe.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Fire, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
