Weapon (rapier), legendary (requires attunement)

This weapon, once born from the betrayal of its creator, his spite flowing through the fragments of the blade, has now had its anger tempered and its form restored to something better than the original piece, being blessed by the god of the forge. Its fragments have now been fused together with a magic golden ore, resembling fine pottery, and still hums with innate magic, as if the wrathful spirit within has too been reforged.

This weapon gains a +2 bonus to its attack and damage rolls and deals an additional 2d6 Fire or Radiant damage(your choice) with each attack.

This weapon has 8 charges and regains 1d6 + 2 expended charges daily at dawn.

Maker’s Strength: This weapon deals double damage to objects, structures, and constructs.

Golden Storm: Once on each of your turns when you take the Attack action, you can expend 1 charge to replace one of your attacks with a special strike, shooting golden light from the rejoined fragments of the sword in a 5-foot wide, 30 foot long line, a 10 ft radius Sphere, or a 15 ft. Cone, originating from you. Each creature in the area must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 6d6 Radiant Damage damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a success.

Forgiving Light: Whenever you use Golden Storm, if an allied creature is in the area of effect, you can expend a charge(no action required). If you do that creature takes no damage from Golden Storm, and instead gains Temp HP equal to the damage that would be dealt, having their wounds stitched with the same golden metal that makes up the sword. if no allied creatures are within the area of golden storm, you can choose to give these temp hp to yourself instead.

Reforge the Soul: As a Bonus action, you may expend one or more charges, up to a maximum of 3, to heal yourself or an ally. Choose yourself or a creature you can see within 30 ft. That creature regains 2d8 + your Charisma Modifer HP per charge spent.

Invoking the Rune: The Sword bears upon it the Rune of Forgiveness. As an action you can invoke the rune to cast the Guardian of Faith Spell, DC 16. Once you have cast the spell this way, you cannot do so again until you complete a long rest.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
