Weapon (longbow), very rare (requires attunement)

The limbs of this massive longbow are carved from petrified sky-oak, reinforced with polished storm-metal plates. Its string is spun from a bound tempest elemental, vibrating with a low, menacing hum of kinetic energy. When drawn, the scent of ozone fills the air, and static electricity dances along the arrow's shaft.

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Thunderous Volley: When you hit a creature with this bow, the arrow detonates with a deafening boom. The target takes an extra 2d6 thunder damage, and it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 10 feet away from you and knocked prone.

Skystrike (1/Day): As an action, you can point the bow at the heavens and fire an arrow into the clouds. A bolt of real lightning strikes a 10-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point you can see within 150 feet. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d10 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Notes: Bonus: Arcana, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
