Arachis Whistle

This whistle is a relic of the deep gnome Arach Tamers. When blown within 40 ft. of a spider that you can see, that spider must make a DC 15 wisdom save. On a success, the spider becomes agitated and targets the blower of the whistle. On a failure, the spider is charmed for 1 hour and will protect the one that charmed it. During this period, animal handling checks against the spider for the purpose of taming it have advantage. If a spider is tamed by the owner of the whistle, the whistle can no longer be used to charm spiders, but will instead instantly summon the tamed spider as long as it is within 1 mile of the whistle owner. Requires an attunement slot. Can be used twice per long rest.
