You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this piece of magic ammunition. Once it hits a target, the ammunition is no longer magical.
The Arrow of the Constrictor Vine was created through the combination of magically imbued seed of the constrictor vine and traditional arrow. The seed is placed within a bodkin arrowhead. Upon impact of any biological material living or undead, the adder vine seed shoots out of the arrow, consuming flesh, and wrapping around the target. A creature upon hit must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained by the entangling plants until the spell ends. On failure, a creature receives 2d6 necrotic damage in addition to bow damage. On success, creature only receives half necrotic damage. A creature restrained by the plants can use its action to make a Strength check . On a success, it frees itself.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
