Weapon (longsword), uncommon (requires attunement by a Cleric or a creature capable of casting the Shield spell)

Once wielded by the guardians of a forgotten desert kingdom, this elegant Longsword bears a crescent-shaped pommel and a weathered hilt this weapon has been engraved with protective hieroglyphs along the Fuller of the sword. Even though its edge has tasted countless battles over the centuries, there does not appear to be any damage to the blade itself.

While attuned to Ankhguard, you can cast the Shield spell by spending a weapon charge. When cast, the blade illuminates hieroglyphs and an ethereal ankh forms a protective ward around your person at the point of impact, until the start of your next turn. Ankhguard regains 1d6 charges daily at dawn.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Cleric or a creature capable of casting the Shield spell, Warding, Versatile, Sap
