Amber Shard (The Gardener’s Seed)

A jagged, translucent amber prism that pulses with the rhythm of a slow, dying heartbeat. It smells of damp, ancient soil. It is impossibly heavy.

• Feature: The Apex Stance: When you hold this shard, you can enter the Apex Stance as a bonus action. Mark a creature you can see within 30 feet. For 1 minute, you gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls against that creature. You ignore non-magical difficult terrain.

• Feature: Harvest of Life: When you reduce a marked target to 0 HP, you can use your reaction to touch the shard to the earth (or the creature). You regain $2d6 + \text{level}$ hit points. You may distribute these hit points to yourself or any ally within 30 feet.
