An axe with runes and symbols of a long dead tongue, and a button on it's handhold.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and it may be thrown with a distance of 20/60ft..
The axe has two modes; Return and Attract. As a free action, you may press the button down to switch to Attract, or press it to switch to Return.
When thrown in Return mode, the attuned creature may expend a charge to recall the axe as a bonus action. If the attack is successful and the axe is recalled, the creature hit by the attack must make a strength saving throw (DC 12.) On a failure, the axe pulls them with it to a square adjacent to the thrower of their choosing, so long as the square is unoccupied. On a success, the axe is removed from the target and simply returns to the thrower.
When thrown in Attract mode, the attuned creature may expend two charges to call themselves towards the axe's location as a bonus action, traveling the distance. If they pass through another creature's square, the creature takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage, and does not get to make an attack of opportunity.
Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Versatile, Topple
