This special backpack has tubes and flasks attached to it and hanging off of it, each filled with mysterious and colorful liquids. Some bubbling and gurgling, others eerily still and smoothly flowing. There is one nozzle with a flow control switch that appears to have a few different settings available.
Poison Spray. As an action, you may aim the nozzle and spray a poisonous potion at one creature within 30ft. of yourself. Make a ranged spell attack at the creature using intelligence as the spellcasting modifier (1d20+int mod+prof bonus). On a hit the target takes 2d8 poison damage and has the poisoned condition until the end of its next turn.
Potion Brewing. As a bonus action, you may roll on the Experimental Elixirs table and produce one elixir and administer it to yourself or a creature within 5ft of you. If you roll a 6 on the die to determine the type of elixir, instead of choosing an option from the table you may also pick one of the two options listed below.
Poison Potion. The drinker takes 2d8 poison damage and has the poisoned condition until the end of it’s next turn.
Potion of Fierceness. The drinker may add an extra 1d6 of damage to its weapon attacks or unarmed strikes for 1 minute. The damage type is the same that the weapon or unarmed strike deals.
Bonus Elixir. While you are attuned to the Alchemist’s Backpack you can create an additional Experimental Elixir using your Experimental Elixirs feature. (Three total at level 3, four total at level 5, five total at level 9, and six total at level 15)
