This elegant longbow is formed entirely of pure, translucent magic. It appears as a graceful curve of shimmering force, its string a thin line of pure energy that hums softly when drawn. The weapon has no physical weight and produces no sound when fired.
While you are attuned to the Aetherbow, you gain the following benefits:
- You are proficient with longbows.
- You can summon the Aetherbow to your hand or dismiss it into an extradimensional space as a bonus action. While the bow is dismissed, it remains attuned to you.
- You cannot be disarmed of the Aetherbow.
- Attacks made with the Aetherbow deal force damage instead of piercing damage.
- The Aetherbow creates its own ammunition. When you make a ranged weapon attack with it, you may choose to fire a magical arrow of pure force instead of using physical ammunition. This arrow deals force damage and vanishes immediately upon hitting a target or missing.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
