Soleil, known in ancient celestial texts as Are de Soleil, is a divine spear said to have been forged from the first golden ray that pierced the darkness at the dawn of creation. It stands nearly eight feet long, its shaft crafted from an unknown golden metal that feels warm to the touch but never burns its bearer. Fine filigree of flowing solar runes spirals along its length, glowing softly like embers beneath polished gold.
Its broad, leaf-shaped spearhead is impossibly sharp, forged from solid sunlight condensed into radiant metal. Intricate engravings depict the rising sun, with each edge shimmering as though molten light flows beneath the surface. At the base of the blade rests a brilliant circular sunstone encased within a crown of golden rays, beating with a slow, steady pulse like the heart of a star.
Long ribbons of celestial silk, woven from strands of dawn itself, are tied beneath the spearhead. They dance without wind, trailing behind the weapon in graceful arcs and leaving faint streaks of golden light in the air. Every movement of the spear creates the sound of distant chimes mixed with the first birdsong of morning.
The butt of the spear ends in a polished golden spike bearing another radiant solar emblem, allowing it to strike with equal precision from either end. Whenever the weapon is planted into the earth, delicate patterns resembling sunbursts spread across the ground beneath it.
When dormant, Sole radiates the comforting warmth of a sunrise and fills the surrounding air with the scent of fresh rain and blooming flowers. When awakened in battle, its glow intensifies until it rivals the midday sun. Golden halos form around the blade, beams of light stream from its runes, and every strike leaves a blazing trail that lingers for a heartbeat before fading into sparkling motes of light.
Legends claim that gazing upon the fully awakened Arc of the Sun is like witnessing the dawn of the world itself—a weapon not merely forged by the gods, but embodying the very concept of hope, justice, and the triumph of light over darkness. Few can wield its full power, for Sole chooses only those whose resolve shines as brightly as the sun it represents.
