Agdon’s scarf is a bright blue length of cloth that he claims was woven from lightning bolts he stole right out from under a dark cloud.
In days gone by, Agdon Longscarf made a name for himself as he and his band of miscreants menaced travelers throughout various Feywild domains. It was in Prismeer, however, that Agdon’s antics came to an end by Zybilna’s hand. As punishment for his offenses, the archfey demanded that Agdon give up his beloved scarf. When he refused, Zybilna cursed him so that he would never be able to remove it. She then pinned the scarf to a young sapling with a magic nail made of gold and iron, and she bade the tree grow until its branches raked the clouds. Agdon was thus carried into the sky, where he was stranded for a long time.
Wearing the scarf confers the following abilities:
Like Lightning. While attuned to the scarf, your base movement speed increases by 35ft.
Evasion. While attuned to the scarf, if subjected to an effect that would allow you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw and only half damage if you fail, provided you aren't incapacitated.
Uncanny Dodge. While attuned to the scarf, as a reaction, you can halve the damage from an attack that hits you, where you can see the attacker.
Heroes Don't Wear Capes. Creatures can grapple you from 15ft away by grabbing the scarf on a successful DC17 strength Athletics check. While grappled this way, the Like Lightning feature is disabled, and you cannot move more than 15ft away from the creature. Breaking free of the grapple requires an Athletics check that contests the check made to grapple.
Cursed. Once worn, this item cannot be removed, even upon death, unless to be given as a gift to Zybilna. This item can still be unattuned.
