Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a Artificer)

Forged by an unknown artificer known only as The First Smith, Aegis Prime was said to be the prototype from which all Arcane Armor was inspired. The armor constantly shifts with faint mechanical clicks, tiny runes glowing beneath its plates as though it is forever improving itself.
The armor counts as your Arcane Armor, even if it normally couldn't be infused.

Sentience:

Aegis Prime can be run as a sentient artifact.
- Intelligence: 16
- Wisdom: 14
- Charisma: 18
- Speaks Common, Dwarvish, and understands every language its attuned wearer knows.
- Personality: Calm, analytical, and endlessly curious. It constantly seeks better solutions and encourages invention over destruction.
It frequently asks questions like:

"Could this encounter have been solved more elegantly?"

or

"Your efficiency has improved by 12.8%."

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
