This burnished silver amulet holds a single small emerald in the center of it, which glows faintly when songs are heard nearby. The bearer of this amulet gains a +3 bonus to Insight checks, and ignores the effects of Half-Cover and Three-Quarters-Cover. Whenever the wearer makes a ranged spell attack, they may choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll, with a +10 bonus to the damage dealt on a hit, as if using the Spell Sniper feat. During a Short Rest, the bearer of this item may attune it to one type of Charisma based skill; Performance, Persuasion, Deception, or Intimidation. The wearer will have Advantage on these checks until the amulet is attuned again.
Siren’s Song. The words spoken by whoever bears this item are rendered far sweeter and more convincing to any who hear them. Twice per day, the wearer of this amulet may use an action to speak a phrase or sing a line of a song to cast Charm Person as a third level spell without expending a spell slot.
