Weapon (shortsword), legendary (requires attunement by a One short rest actively training with the sword.)

Distortion is a silver-white shortsword with a mahogany leather wrapped handle and a quartz pommel. When being held, Distortion makes the wielder blurred to onlookers, no matter how close to them the wielder is. This gives the wielder advantage on stealth checks and prevents disadvantage on a stealth check while a creature is focused on them. This blur effect also gives others disadvantage on perception checks and attack rolls against the wielder. Any spell attacks against the wielder, no matter the spell description, must make an attack roll to hit. Any spells that already require an attack roll are made with disadvantage.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
