Weapon (dagger), rare (requires attunement)

Aurora’s deck of arcana

Once a humble tarot deck, Aurora Myastan’s cards have been saturated with decades of divination, spellcraft, and raw emotional imprint. Aurora was infamous for reading futures she fought to change - and bending fate until it snapped. Her cards absorbed every soul lifting triumph, every heartbreaking failure.

The box itself is battered wood wrapped in faded indigo cloth marked with Aurora’s symbol. When opened, the air hums faintly, as if the cards remember being shuffled by hands far more confident than yours. Any mundane card placed inside slowly transforms over 24 hours, reshaping itself into the missing card’s imagery and inheriting its arcane effect.

Each card radiates a distinct personality - some helpful, some not.

Metal Cards

These two cards are forged from thin sheets of arcane-treated steel. Their edges shimmer like heated metal, and each bears Aurora’s personal sigil. They can be thrown as ranged attacks (1d20 + Dex) dealing 1d8 damage plus their unique effect. They never appear in random draws - they must be chosen deliberately.

0 - The Fool

A jester dancing on the edge of a cliff, sparks leaping from his fingertips.

Effect: add 1d4 fire damage to attack (this card creates sparks)

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Damage: Fire, Finesse, Light, Thrown, Nick
