Amulet of the Landwalker

This simple enchanted amulet allows aquatic humanoids to temporarily exchange their natural aquatic form for a body better suited to walking on land.

Landwalking Transformation

While wearing the amulet, your tail or aquatic lower body transforms into humanoid legs.

While transformed:

• Your Walking Speed becomes 30 feet.
• If this aquatic species has effects while on land, ignore those effects.
• You lose any Swimming Speed granted by your natural body.
• You can still swim using the normal swimming rules.
• The transformation lasts indefinitely while the amulet is worn.

The transformation ends immediately if the amulet is removed or lost.

Water Suppression

If natural water touches you, the amulet’s magic is immediately suppressed. Your legs return to their natural aquatic form, restoring your normal Swimming Speed and other movement restrictions.
After you are no longer touching natural water, the amulet remains suppressed for 15 minutes. Once those 15 minutes have passed, your landwalking transformation automatically returns, provided you are still wearing the amulet.
Drinking water, and small quantities of processed water do not normally suppress the amulet.
