Regrets can find no purchase on a heart that has been wiped clean like a blank slate. That does not prevent the absence from being felt, however. Though you overcame the physical embodiment of it, Regret’s inability to touch something that is no longer there remains etched in your memory. It leaves a constant reminder in the shape of a small black mark like shattered glass somewhere on your body that you can see. Even if covered, you know it’s there.
Make Them Feel. You may have convinced yourself that you’re free from such emotions, and all the more reason to make others feel them. When you use an action to alter the mental state or deal psychic damage to a creature, you can use a bonus action to cause them to feel remnants of your lost pain.
The target must succeed a DC 15 Charisma saving throw or become anguished. While anguished, the target takes 2d6 psychic damage at the start of each of its turns and has disadvantage on attack rolls. The anguished target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. The target or one of its allies can spend an action rallying the target to end the effect early. Once a target overcomes feeling this anguish, they cannot be affected by it again for 24 hours. Once this feeling has affected a creature, it cannot be used again until you finish a long rest.
What You Will Not. How can others make you feel that which you know you cannot? If you fail a saving throw, you may choose to succeed it instead as a free action. Once you decide What You Will Not feel, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
