Alkurwood Seedcore

The Alkurwood Seedcore is a mutable piece of plant armor that can adapt to the user's wishes.

Once per long rest, the user may cast the spells Barkskin or Entangle without expending a spell slot.

The user may also change the armor between 3 different modes once per short rest, each lasting 1 hour in duration.

Defensive Mode: Increases armor class by 1 for 1 hour.

Spellcasting Mode: Advantage on concentration checks for 1 hour

Restorative Mode: The user heals 1d4 HP each round for 1 hour.

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
