This lead-lined casing is inscribed with pulsing sonic runes and filled with a volatile mixture of pulverized thunderstone and elemental salts. Crafted by Dorian and finely tuned to the exact harmonic resonance of natural and enchanted mineral matrices, it delivers a surgical, highly localized blast of destructive acoustic energy.
- Usage: As an action, you can set and activate the charge against a nonmagical or unwarded stone/crystalline surface (or throw it up to 30 feet to detonate on impact).
- Effect: The charge detonates in a localized 10-foot radius. Each creature in the area must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 8d6 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
- Breaching Property: When detonated against stone, crystal, or mineral structures (such as amber), it deals double damage to the object and ignores object threshold resistance, instantly breaching up to 3 feet of solid material without causing widespread structural collapse to adjacent areas. The detonation creates no bright flash, but emits a muffled, low-frequency thrum audible up to 100 feet away.
