Aidan de Casten was a chaotic and youthful middle-aged elf cleric and member of the company of adventurers, known as the Order of the Sot Equus, that defended Faerûn from the rise of the Dragon Queen Tiamat. Aidan was a former follower of Dah'Mir, god of life and light, and heavily tempted by Lolth, the Queen of Spiders. He ended up abandoning both deities' paths when he found the Hand of Vecna in Tiamat's lair and entrusted his faith to the Raven Queen.
To attune to this item, you must lop off your left hand at the forearm and then press the magic item against the stump. Then, a flash of light will begin to seal the cut's wound from within, making it a fully functioning appendage.
- Healer Spirit: Aidan clasped his holy symbol so many times with his left hand to heal his wounded companions that it feels like it became a channeler for healing magic. Whenever you use a spell to restore hit points to you or another creature, you may add your proficiency bonus to the total of hit points regained.
- Divine Remnants: Being so inherently attached to the divine forces during his life, when Aidan decided to cut off his arm, some of his magic abilities remained with it. This item holds 5 charges, recharging 1d4+1 at dawn, which can be expended to cast the following spells:
