Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a Cursed Attunement. Once a creature attunes to the amulet, it cannot willingly unattune from it. The remove curse spell suppresses the curse for 24 hours but does not permanently remove it)
Curse of the Cursed Gold. While attuned to the amulet, the bearer is cursed. Their appearance remains normal during daylight, but under moonlight their flesh becomes translucent, revealing a skeletal body beneath.
While exposed to moonlight, the bearer gains the following traits:
- Undead Appearance. The bearer appears as a humanoid skeleton.
- Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the bearer to 0 hit points, they must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the bearer drops to 1 hit point instead.
- Deathless Hunger. The bearer no longer needs to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep..
