Armor (breastplate), common
A weathered pirate's long coat reinforced with hidden steel plates and battered leather armor. Heavy, salt-stained fabric hangs from the shoulders, while brass buckles and metal clasps secure its protective layers. Despite its rugged appearance, the coat remains flexible enough for movement and combat, giving its wearer the imposing look of a seasoned captain who has survived countless battles at sea.
This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
