This simple looking loup is made of brass with a ring of quartz around the middle. There does not appear to be any lenses inside.
When held to your eye, magical effects become faintly visible. If you concentrate on a single item or creature with a magical effect for a full minute, you learn the nature of the effect as if through the Identify spell, using 1 charge.
