When feeling like telling too much jokes, the staff could either tell the same jokes multiple times or tell them to go on, in joke form.
The staff of jokes will also substitute for a quarterstaff using the same damage as a common quarterstaff.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
