This weapon functions as a +3 longsword. When the sword is attuned to for the first time in a century, you can cast wish, using this weapon as your spellcasting focus. You do not have to have spellcasting to use this feature. When a creature attuned to this weapon hits a creature with an attack with this sword, it takes an additional 1d8 of necrotic damage for every size above small (e.g. medium takes 1d8, large takes 2d8, huge takes 3d8, and gargantuan takes an extra 4d8 necrotic damage).
As an bonus action, you can destabilize the sword. When the sword is destabilized, it deals and extra 4d8 necrotic damage per hit. After you make 3 attacks with the destabilized sword, roll a d20. On a 1 - 5, the sword is destroyed. On a 6 - 19, the sword is restabilized. on a 20, you Imbue the sword with necrotic power. The sword does a permanent extra 1d8 necrotic damage per hit. This feature can only increase the damage of the sword once per day, to a maximum of 1d8 slashing + 4d8 necrotic.
As an action, you can bury the sword deep in the ground. You must make a successful DC20 Strength check. On a fail, nothing happens and your turn is over. On a success, Necrotic energy pulses through the ground, instantly killing up to 10 creatures of your choice within 50 feet. If the creature has legendary or mythic actions, they instead take 12d8 Necrotic damage. After you use this feature, roll a d20. On a 1 - 5, the sword is destroyed. On a 6 - 20, the sword is restabilized. This feature can only be used once per long rest.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
