Amulet of dragon scales

This amulet has six hooks, onto which an individual scale from a dragon can be attached. As a reaction, you can sacrifice one scale to give yourself resistance to the type of damage corresponding to the type of dragonscale, until the start of your next turn (e.g., sacrifice a red scale to gain fire resistance, or a white scale to gain cold resistance). Scales must be harvested from a dragon, and the amulet can be replenished with new scales (or have its scales swapped out) on a long rest.
