A plain leather shoulder satchel with two closures, entirely ordinary in appearance. It cannot be detected by any form of magical examination, including detect magic, identify, and scrying.
At creation, the maker fixes a command thought to the satchel. The satchel functions only for a creature holding it while concentrating on that command thought. Without the correct command thought, it behaves as a plain leather bag of its exterior dimensions.
The main compartment opens into a nondimensional space that can hold up to 700 pounds or 140 cubic feet, whichever limit is reached first. Regardless of contents, the satchel always weighs 3 pounds. A creature concentrating on an object it knows to be inside the satchel causes that object to appear immediately in its hand.
The side pocket produces any mundane spellcasting component on demand, except for components that have a specified gold piece cost. This property does not deplete with use.
