Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by a spellcaster)

A silver amulet set with a polished moonstone etched with faint concentric circles. When activated, the stone emits a silent pulse of pale blue light visible only to the wearer.
The enchantment was originally developed by explorers and royal investigators to locate survivors in collapsed ruins, though it has since found use among hunters, bounty seekers, and those who delve into forgotten places.

Pulse of Life
Once per long rest, you may use an action to activate the amulet.
A wave of magical perception radiates from you in a 90-foot radius sphere, passing effortlessly through walls, earth, stone, wood, metal, and other nonmagical barriers.
For the next 1 minute, you perceive the presence of every living creature within the area that is not concealed by magical means.
This effect ignores physical cover, total cover, darkness, invisibility, and mundane disguises.
Creatures protected by effects such as Nondetection, Mind Blank, Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum, or similar magic remain hidden from the amulet.
Undead, constructs, and other creatures that are not considered living are not detected.

The clarity of the information depends on the wearer's understanding of the magical pulse. When the amulet is activated, make an Intelligence (Arcana) check.

Arcana Check Information Revealed
10 or lower You know only the approximate number of creatures present.
11–15 You know each creature's general location and whether it is moving.
16–20 You also learn each creature's size (Tiny–Gargantuan) and creature type (Humanoid, Beast, Dragon, Fiend, etc.).
21–25 You additionally know the creature's approximate health (Healthy, Wounded, Gravely Injured) and whether it is alone or part of a clustered group.
26+ You perceive each creature with remarkable clarity, learning its exact location, facing, movement, creature type, size, approximate health, and whether it is under the effects of magical concealment (though concealed creatures themselves remain undetected).

Limitations
The amulet detects only living creatures.
It does not reveal names, identities, thoughts, alignments, or equipment.
Illusions and mundane disguises do not fool the amulet.
Magical concealment takes precedence over the amulet's detection.
