Casting: The Bag of Bones tells Fortunes; when you are attuned to them, and they manifest a magical Augury that can be cast once per day to answer a single question. The GM decides how specific or vague the answer will be within the casting of the bones. The bones are held in your hand as the question is formulated in your mind and as they are cast upon a flat surface, the bones will rattle and settle in patterns that only you can see. Each bone is carved with three symbols and depending upon how they touch or which symbols are face up determines the images that are shown to you as an answer.
The GM answers in terms of images, one or more in sequence that can be very clear or frustratingly vague. The GM rolls a secret die vs DC10. How successful you are indicates to the GM how accurate the images will be. Failure is a clouded and obscure and perhaps meaningless imagery, and a success may provide a more meaningful image. How the GM answers is completely up to them.
Dreams: When placed beneath the pillow or slept with in hand, these bones can sometimes provide a dream that gives you some Divine inspiration on future events. This is purely a plot device for the GM to use whenever required. As in the casting of the bones the dream can be as specific or obscure as needed. These dreams are always presaged by the imagery of a Raven.
Notes: any Class and must be placed under a pillow and slept on for three nights to attune.
