A patchwork gauntlet, with metal plates covering hidden copper and silver wires, this gauntlet is meant to carry and deliver electrical charge. With a leather glove housing the mechanisms hidden underneath protective plating, those who do not know the purpose of this item might take it for just an ornate piece of armor.
To charge this weapon, an electrical charge must be supplied to give it a charge. You can then expend a charge and touch an enemy with the glove to unleash the energy inside of this gauntlet. Make a melee spell attack against a single target. On a hit, the target takes 3d6 lightning damage.
Alternatively, you can expend a charge as a reaction upon someone making a melee attack against you to create a burst of light and cause the attacker to make their roll with disadvantage.
On an attack roll, if a 1 is rolled, this item explodes, dealing 2d6 lightning damage to the wielder. The item is considered inoperable until someone takes time to repair it.
