Weapon (laser rifle), unknown rarity

The Electric Railcannon, when shot, fires a powerful hitscan beam, piercing through any enemy it is aimed at until it hits a surface. The beam does 2 damage 4 times on contact, causing a hitstop for each enemy it hits.

Electric Railcannon beams can be reflected by coins from the Marksman Revolver, bouncing off and locking on to nearby enemies or player projectiles with damage increased by 25% for the first coin reflected, and by 10% for any subsequent coins in the chain. They are also able to detonate cores, rockets, and cannonballs, causing greater explosions in each instance.

The Electric Railcannon's beam is able to trigger conductor aftershocks on enemies which have nails from the Nailgun embedded into them, destroying all nails previously embedded inside of the enemy, and causing the shock to be chained to all nearby grounded enemies and conductive projectiles, dealing damage based on the number of nails inside the original target. Underwater, the Electric Railcannon’s beam always triggers conductor aftershocks, damaging all underwater enemies regardless of whether the enemy has nails embedded in them or not, as well as inflicting the player with 50 Hard Damage.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Notes: Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Slow
