While wearing these bracers, you gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class and +1 to your Strength score if you are using no Shield.
Once per day when hit with a Critical Hit attack the wearer can roll 1d4 and reduce the attacker’s roll by the result. If it reduces the roll below the wearer’s AC then the attack fails. If the attack is not reduced by enough then it still qualifies as a critical hit. If the ability fails to prevent the attack then the charge is kept.
