This heavy silver medallion features two overlapping, finely carved celestial rings that slowly rotate when worn. By focusing on the resonance of the amulet, the wearer briefly channel the soul, training, and magic of another path.
Properties
While wearing and attuned to this amulet, you gain the following benefits:
Gestalt Resonance: During a Long Rest, choose a class other than your primary class (e.g., Fighter, Wizard, Rogue). While attuned to and wearing the amulet, you gain 1 temporary level in that chosen class, effectively increasing your total Character Level by 1 for the purpose of class features gained.
Class Features: You gain all 1st-level class features of the chosen class (e.g., a Fighter's Second Wind and Weapon Masteries, a Rogue's Expertise and Sneak Attack [1d6], or a Paladin's Lay on Hands and spellcasting).
Spellcasting: If the chosen class grants Spellcasting or Pact Magic, you gain the 1st-level spell slots and prepared spells known of that class. These slots remain separate from your primary spellcasting pool. Your spellcasting ability modifier for those spells uses the chosen class's standard ability
Prerequisites: You must meet the standard 5.5e Multiclassing Ability Score prerequisites (a minimum score of 13 in the chosen class's core stat) to channel that class through the amulet.
Fading Echo: Changing your chosen class selection requires attuning to the amulet again during a fresh Long Rest. If the amulet is removed or your attunement ends, any active spell effects, summonings, or class resource pools granted by the temporary level immediately end or vanish.
Cursed Variant: while attuned, if the wearer rolls a natural one, they must succeed a dc17 wisdom saving throw or be forced to take the attuned class apon their next level up.
