A yellow-and-black security device recovered from beneath a service counter. Apparently, the department had a policy for handling difficult customers. You were about to discover it.
The System has improved its reliability and removed the safety briefing. Aim the end with the little holes toward someone whose afternoon you dislike.
SPECIAL ABILITY — PLEASE REMAIN CALM
On a successful hit, spend one discharge to stun a small or human-sized target for one turn. Bosses and larger enemies lose their next movement action instead. A target can suffer this effect only once per encounter.
LIMITATION — TWO POINTS OF CONTACT
Both probes must connect to deliver damage or stun. Heavy armor blocks the shot. Constructs and creatures immune to electricity ignore its effects.
LAST RESORT — PERSONAL SERVICE
Press the weapon directly against a target to make a melee attack dealing 1–2 electrical damage. Costs one discharge, requires no cartridge, and does not stun.
SYSTEM NOTE:
Congratulations. You have acquired a weapon designed to make people stop doing things. Start with the person currently stabbing you.
Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
