Wondrous Item, common
A juicy, plump Aloe barbadensis leaf cut from the succulent's trunk.
Its outer cellulose skin has a pungent, oniony aroma and produces a potent, water-soluble green pigment. Removing the skin reveals clear, succulent flesh that produces a slimy juice due to the abundance of complex polymer chains that make up the nutritious and healthful liquid.
This plant grows abundantly in harsher climates with little water, and is referred to as the "magic flower" by natives for its myriad of medicinal, practical, and alchemical applications.
