Aurumvorax is a rapier made out of the purest and shiniest gold anyone has ever seen.
The first person to touch Aurumvorax is automatically attuned to it and comprehends the powers of the item.
While Attuned to Aurumvorax you are resistant to all damage, but always deal half damage, rounded down.
Once a Day you may feed Aurumvorax with one treasure worth at least 5,000 GP, if done so you deal your standard amount of damage for 1d6 rounds.
If Aurumvorax is unfed for over a week it will start devouring other possessions of the closest character until it devoured 7,500 GP worth of items, if the character does not possess that many items on them, Aurumvorax will start eating the possessions of other nearby people.
Attunement to a cursed item can't be ended voluntarily unless the curse is broken first, such as with the remove curse spell.
If the curse is broken the whole spell is lifted and the weapon becomes non-magical.
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Damage, Combat, Cursed, Finesse, Vex
