Amulet of Darkvision

This useful tool has helped many adventurers and although uncommon in its creation is often found in any well stocked adventurers shop.  This amulet can be activated with a simple touch and a will to call forth its ability.  Once activated, the dark vision (60ft) lasts for 8 hours and needs 12 hours to recharge.  The amulet can be recharged for an additional 8 hours by using the life force of the user to fuel its power.  The cost to refuel the charge is (1d4) hps taken from the user.  This damage cannot be restored or healed until the amulet is deactivated.

The time that a users life force is powering the amulet counts towards its 12 hours to recharge normally.
